The Bible in a Year
The invisible God of the universe wants to have a relationship with you! That fact should keep us all astonished all the time. But how does an invisible God reveal himself to and build a relationship with humanity? Nature, science, and reason are all general or natural ways God has revealed himself throughout history (general revelation), but God also chose to reveal himself at unique times and in special ways in human history (special revelation). The Bible and Jesus are God’s most intimate ways of revealing himself to us. The Bible contains the story of God’s unfolding revelation to Israel and then to the broader world. The plot line of the story is Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Recreation. The central figure in the story is Jesus…and us. Join us for the Year of the Bible as we journey together through the epic story of the Bible.
